What To Expect
Sacred Mount Calvary of Domodossola
Depart Milan on a high-speed train for the town of Domodossola, the last Italian frontier before the Swiss border. Here begins your adventure on the “Green train of the Alps!”
The train takes you on a journey through the Simplon pass, one of the most beautiful crossings in Switzerland. Cutting between the alps, your knowledgeable English-speaking guide will introduce you to the secrets of mountains and the valleys as they appear before of your eyes.

Schloss Spiez
After around 2 hours of breath-taking panoramas, we arrive in Spiez, on the shores of Lake Thun. Here we stop for a spot of lunch (not included), before departing on our cruise to Interlaken, on a state of the art steamboat.
Whilst crossing the lake, take a moment to snap some pictures of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, 3 famous mountains whose recognisable shapes reflect in the light blue water of the lake.

In the late afternoon, we take the train back to Domodossola, before returning to Milan on an air-conditioned coach.

We had a great bus and train trip through alps with a fun boat ride on the lake. Enjoyed some time shopping at Interlaken.

The guide was great! The boat ride to Interlaken was so pretty. A very peaceful place. A long bus ride back to Milan.

Trip to Interlaken was an enjoyable and refreshing break from the city heat. Informative and organized guide who kept the group together, while moving through the various modes of transportation. Loved the day trip from Milan.
Milan to Interlakeb

Trip was scenic and enjoyable. Advertised as 13 hors and it was ALL OF THAT - On a train, another train, a boat, another train, another train and a bus. Weather was good for travel. Guide was attentive.
Need to tell customers there is a lot of walking, especially from the 2nd train to the boat - It was strenuous on those in our 10 people party over 75 years old.
The bus trip was harrowing as the driver talked on his mobile while drive at 100 KPH. Was upset about what his dispatcher had him doing. Personally heard the conversation from the seventh row behind the driver.
